Bequests for West Point may be made to West Point Association of Graduates, USMA, West Point, NY. West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is a qualified, tax-exempt charity and, as such, your estate may receive an unlimited estate-tax charitable deduction for the amount of your gift. Your bequest may be for a specific dollar amount or for a percentage of your estate. Bequests may be restricted to a specific program or unrestricted to be used at the discretion of the Superintendent or WPAOG leadership.

Sample Bequest Language for an Unrestricted Gift

"I give, devise, and bequeath to West Point Association of Graduates, USMA, West Point, NY, for its general purposes (or for the Long Gray Line Endowment) the sum of __________ dollars."

OR

"I give, devise, and bequeath to West Point Association of Graduates, USMA, West Point, NY, the sum of __________ dollars for the Superintendent's Endowment."

Sample Bequest Language for a Restricted Gift

"I give, devise, and bequeath to West Point Association of Graduates, USMA, West Point, NY, __________% of my residuary estate: one-half to the USMA Combating Terrorism Center and one-half to the Directorate of Cadet Activities."
